The service
PicsTag is a free tool that suggests tags and captions for images using AI models that run in your own browser. It is provided as-is, with no account and no contract beyond these terms.
What you are responsible for
- Having the right to process the images you tag.
- Checking the output. The AI is a first pass, not an authority — it will sometimes be confidently wrong, which is exactly why the tool makes you review every tag before it can be exported.
- Any cost you incur with a third-party model provider if you choose to use the optional cloud mode with your own API key.
What we do not promise
The tool is provided without warranty of any kind. The tags and captions it produces may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your purpose. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the output, and we do not guarantee that the service will be available or unchanged.
Third-party models
The local models are open models downloaded from a public host and executed in your browser. The optional cloud mode sends requests to OpenRouter under your own API key and their terms.
